A Room at the Hotel, Early Tuesday
Sparkle had needed a little breathing room. A little space to just kind of freak the frick out without making a couple dozen Jedi brains itch, and then he could make his way back to Coruscant as a slightly saner, less wound-up example of the trashmonster that he really was.
And he had an accomplice in this plan. One Karina, who had been good enough to understand why he'd been freaking the hell out in the first place, and who had dropped everything for a meet-in-the-middle distraction that was bound to involve way too much delivery.
"Haven't even looked at the movie selection yet," he admitted, kind of tilting his head at the TV. "I've been too busy coming up with, like, the most distracting possible pizza topping combinations ever. So far all my attempts still just sound like food."
This was going to be about the height of his intelligent banter this morning. His brain was kind of everywhere.

What? It was.
"I'd try it," she admitted, after a moment.

They were both idiots with terrible taste.
"So, we order that, and... I dunno, think Chilly Boulder delivers if you buy a certain amount?"

Ice cream binges were a thing. A delicious thing.

"So we can totally use that to redeem dessert for us after we ruin it forever with pizza, right?"
It was always good to have a game plan.

"Do you think Pizza Planet has marshmallows to put on pizza?" she asked. "Or are we going to have to get our own?"

"I mean, it's Pizza Planet on Fandom Island," Sparkle pointed out, as if that was really the only answer that was necessary.
It kind of was.
