Room 209, Monday Evening

Sparkle was not in the greatest of moods today. In fact, he was in the exact opposite of a good mood today. For... reasons. Reasons that mostly involved trying to light a smoke and nearly losing an eyebrow, and no, he didn't want to talk about it, he was going to just sit himself on his bed and hate everything and occasionally squirm uncomfortably. Also for reasons, but those ones were reasons that had nothing to do with his eyebrow, thanks. Just... thanks.

He was probably just lucky that it was an eyebrow, and not his whole head of hair. And, bearing that in mind, he was going to stay on his bed, where he couldn't screw anything else up, and he was going to pat Alec on the... shoulder. The shoulder, which was exactly where he was aiming, because who the hell wanted to pat a baby panther on the head, right?

People who could aim, that's who.

Hey, Sparkle, ever been abruptly kissed by a naked guy before?

...Well, possibly. Anyway, Alec was trying it too.

Ooooh. You know, Sparkle wasn't going to complain about this. Ever. He was going to roll with it, because...

... Because being kissed on the nose was kind of adorable.

"Missed," Sparkle teased, though, so help him, he was a bit breathless as he did so. And he was reaching his free hand up to rest on Alec's shoulder, not particularly paying attention to his hand at all.

"This feels much less appropriate with me not having clothes on," Alec mumbled. His free hand really couldn't move at all without sending this little makeout session down a very unexpected road, so Sparkle would just have to cope with that.

He did, however, try to kiss Sparkle again, this time aiming just slightly off of center.

There. Mouth. That was better.

Oooh. Hey, that was way better than having his nose kissed. Sparkle was all about having his mouth kissed. By, you know, a naked guy. A naked Alec in particular. He gave a low hum, one that was full of approval, and let his hand drift up over the skin of Alec's back, fingers knotting in his hair once they made it up that high.

Funny what not actually trying could accomplish.

Fandom Island: promoting laziness and distraction across the island since... well, April 1st, 2013.

It took a great deal of effort to get Alec to stop paying attention to everything around him, for the record, but if he concentrated mostly on how good Sparkle smelled, then he was able to unlock their fingers and move his hand to Sparkle's hip instead. Skills, yo.

Oh. Oh hey, hand on Sparkle's hip? That was getting another approving hum out of Sparkle, who was leaning in much closer, pressing his chest against Alec's and--

"You're still naked," he murmured, taking a moment in edgewise to catch his breath.

"Oh," Alec said. He was aware, just -- in the back of his mind, right now. "Right. Should I... not be?"

Oh, Alec.

"Not complaining," Sparkle murmured against Alec's mouth, "but it's got me tempted to keep my blanket to myself after all."

You know. Because.

"That--" Alec leaned in to kiss... just next to Sparkle's mouth-- "doesn't seem fair, though," he replied. "You're still wearing clothes and I'm not. And I can't move my hand anywhere. Not so convenient."

"I could take my clothes off, too," Sparkle offered. Because Sparkle was totally a problem solver, here. You're welcome, Alec.

Alec was actually very much on board with that.

"You sure?" he breathed. "This is kind of, um, fast, and we could postpone if you want..."

[myownface]

"I mean, if we don't miss," Sparkle replied, giving his eyes a roll toward the ceiling, because fuck you, Fandom. Seriously. "It's hot in here, and it's not like I'm shy or anything."

It wasn't that hot in here. It was just... well... hot in here.

It really was. "Okay, then," Alec decided, because he couldn't deny that a less clothed Sparkle sounded really good right now. "Um, let's do that."

Too bad the sudden injection of actual conversation into this makeout session might have made it a little harder to not concentrate on reaching for things, right?

"Excellent," Sparkle practically purred, reaching down for the edge of his shirt. And... managing to grab his leg, instead. "... Yeah. Yeah. Great."

He'd try again. That was a good plan, right? How could he fuck up taking his shirt off?

"Here, I can--" Alec began, leaning forward to help--

--and inadvertently grabbing something else entirely.

"...Oh, by the Angel. I am so sorry."

Was that a strangled sound that Sparkle made there? Yep. Yep, it was. A strangled, definitely bothered but certainly not troubled sound, and then he was leaning forward and deciding to hell with undressing and attempting to smother Alec with a kiss.

... To the cheek, but fuck it, Sparkle was figuring by this point that he should just be happy that he was kissing Alec and not a dresser or something.

Yeah, this particular bout of weirdness would need them to institute a policy of 'it's the thought that counts,' Alec suspected. Otherwise, disappointment would probably be a thing.

He shut his eyes and went for a kiss again, surprised when he actually found the target. "'s better with your eyes closed," he mumbled, deciding not to mess with a good thing when he kept his eyes closed and tried again.

Oh. Oh hey, Alec didn't miss that time. That was good, really, because it meant that now that they were kissing, Sparkle could nibble at Alec's lip without worrying about somehow missing. There was some horrible sort of oral acrobatic feat that would have to occur for something like that to happen.

And, since Alec had said something about closing his eyes, Sparkle was doing just that.

Funny how easily his hand found Alec's thigh, now that he wasn't looking.
